This print features the well-known Slattery’s pub in Rathmines, Dublin. With its’ distinctive façade and central location on Rathmines Road, Slattery’s pub is a well-loved landmark by many who have spent time in or are currently living in the Rathmines area.
‘Snapshots of Dublin’ is the first in the Snapshots series which was shown for the first time at Art Source 2019 in the RDS in Dublin. The idea for the Snapshots series has developed from my interest in the built environment and the rich tapestry of history which is embedded within each and every building, street and city.
I paint using clean lines and strong colours. These bold blocks of colour suit the subject of largely urban environments, taking ‘snapshots’ of views which are the familiar evocative pieces that make up the jigsaw of the world we inhabit.
This is a 23cm x 23cm mounted fine art print on archival-quality paper. The print comes wrapped in plastic sleeve with artist bio and signature on reverse. Each print is hand-finished and signed before framing or shipping.
